Hi Rick, hope your trip went well and you had an enjoyable Easter weekend. Again not a big priority but wondering if you had a chance to look at the code and find any reason why the rig changed modes when using the gateway?

Rick not sure if my last message posted. It works in Fldigi stand alone. It doesn’t work when connected to Logger32 via the gateway.

Rick let me clarify, it only does nothing when connected via the gateway to Logger32. If I run Fldigi standalone everything works fine.

Hi Jim..
I went thru the code tonight looking to see if its a problem on my end but all I do is send the mode over to Fldigi and it transfers the mode of the rig that is connected.
But then I missed this when I read your message the first time..
“If I try clicking on the modes in Fldigi the rig will follow all the mode changes except PKT-USB. Nothing happens when I click on it.”
If it doesn’t work in Fldigi then its not going to work when I send it the mode. You should either email Dave W1hkj or post a message on the Fldigi message group and see if either Dave answers or maybe someone else can tell you how to fix it..

Also i have tried the various PKY mode settings such as PKT, PKT-U and nothing changes.

Rick here is what I have it set to under the Settings tab;
RTTY-LSB; PSK/etal-PKT-USB, CW-USB

Under the Main tab is the following:
RFreq 0
Rmode:
AFreq 1500
Dmode: Olivia

Hi Jim..
On the setup tab in the middle of the tab there are 3 drop down menu to set the radio mode for each of the covered working modes. If you set the rtty and Psk drop down to PSK-USB does that fix things??? Its been a number of years since I worked on that source code but those dropddown selection control what mode the gateway should set the radio to when using one of the set modes..

Hi Rick! Running your Fldigi gateway v1.5.6.6 and a FTdx5000mp. If I issue the QSY command or click on a new frequency, the rig will go to the frequency but the mode then changes from PKT-USB to USB. I then have to hit the PKT button on the rig to get back to PKT-USB. If I try clicking on the modes in Fldigi the rig will follow all the mode changes except PKT-USB. Nothing happens when I click on it.
