Hi Rick,
I have set up the DXLab programs all OK; and I can use Flidigi through Commander, but I cannot change frequencies on my Flex Radio 3000
With Fldigi on stand-alone I use ports 6 & 7.
Do I used these same ports with Gateway or other ports?
I need some guidance as to how to get Flidigi and gateway working to gether…
Do you have documents that I could view or whatever??
Any comments?

I am using a Flex 3000 rig. As a stand-alone , Fldigi works FB. When I use your gateway I have problems…
When I am setting up gateway, do I check off “commander” or “Fldigi”?
I have checked off “Flidigi”. Is this my problem?

I am using the latest ver of FLDIGI and I like it a lot….but, the the auto logging doesn’t put in the complete frequency…it always leaves out the 28. or 14. etc. before the digits of the actual freq within the 28 mhz etc band…..how do I correct this? are you going to provide a fix? I know have in FLDIGI log more than a doesn’t contacts and have no idea what band they were in……frustrating….Dave KA7OBU

Rick,

When using the Gateway and operating split (particularly), I’m having this happen a lot of times:

Frequency A will jump to Frequency B. The FT-890 still shows Split, but both VFOs are on the transmit frequency..

Nauturally, this happens most frequently about the time the DX answers me.

Any idea what might be causing this, and is there any known fix?

New problem cropped up. When I open the gateway it never goes past waiting for fldigi to load. Fldigi loads in normal time and works normally but no interaction with the gateway. I hit cancel and the settings window pops up and the waiting window remains. I tried to click set fldigi path and reset settings both of which just cause the window to go busy. I re downloaded the update and installed but this had no effect on the problem. Windows 7 64 bit.

Rick,

What’s the best way to set up a new version of Fldigi with the Gateway? I usually download the newest version but keep the current one just in case the newest one has issues. Gateway “grabs” the older one.

Do I just delete the older one and let the Gateway grab the new one, or is there a way withing Gateway to tell it which version of Fldigi to open?

Two annoying bugs remain for me. The one listed above, every time I have a QSO which goes from 23xx to 00xx the next day my log has the dates wrong.
The second error is that whenever I close fldigi with DXLabs still up I get frequency error message, the commander window readout turns yellow and I have to change frequency to clear it. I am running latest of all DXLab apps, Windows 7 and using a serial port to control my Icom 706MKII.

Trying Fldigi-Dxlabs-Gateway with DX Keeper and when I try to save contact I get

” Log via TCP/IP Error: Connection is forcefully rejected ”

Any ideas ?
